Who’s the director?

Famous Last Words is a short film by Miranda Hoyt-Disick, a 20-year-old writer/director who became a protege of Kid Can Drive when KCD writer and director Emily Carmichael taught her the SATs.

Like all Kid Can Drive projects, Miranda’s work takes a playful look at genre archetypes, turning them on their heads to tell relatable stories about human relationships. Miranda is the kind of artist who can change the face of our industry–but young artists need support.

Why does this matter?

Because OUR LIVES GET BETTER when we GO HARD FOR YOUNG ARTISTS.

Supporting new voices is one of the best ways we can diversify our industry, and also the most fun!
